Dear anon, basically, unless I misunderstood, Yana follows the golden rule "Do unto others as you would have them", just without living in fear of god. She's a good person for the sake of being a good person. :)

i mean like you have to believe in some sort of God.. religion or no religion... we didnt just appear here for no reason and even looking at it from a scientific point of view something had to create what started this all... so i mean surely you have to believe in some sort of a god.. everyone believes in being a good person as you put it
I don’t believe in any gods. I think the only way to explain how everything came to be is purely scientific. I do believe in being a good person, but not so that I can be rewarded in the afterlife, but so that the world can be a nicer place to live in. :) Also, thanks for being really polite and nice in this discussion!

Oh ok. Another question lol. How do you believe the earth was created? Btw these are serious questions. I just wanna understand
The Big Bang, although the name is misleading because it all happened very slowly. There are a lot of great articles and books that can inform you about it better than I could possibly hope to. The thing about believing that the Earth was made by a deity just for humans is that it isn’t logical - if this planet were made for anything, it’d be bacteria, because bacteria have the best chances of survival. If the world were made for humans, we wouldn’t need to combat the weather with warm clothes, and there wouldn’t be natural disasters that killed people for no reason. I think that we are just lucky that Earth developed the way that it did and that it is comfortable for us. The other planets near us aren’t livable for us, and our planet is the perfect distance from the sun to not be barren and water-less and to not be freezing. One day in the far future though, our sun will start to die and become a red giant and expand, and Earth’s water will evaporate and eventually it’ll be overtaken by the sun as the sun dies. I wonder where humankind will be at that point and if they will have the technology to relocate, or if our species will just die out.

So does death scare you? leaving behind loved ones and never ever seeing them again, you just are erased from the world like you were never really there?
I think that if I live a life that I feel is fulfilling and if I leave behind some sort of written work or artwork or something, that’s good enough. I think if I touch someone’s life and change their outlook on something, they will affect future generations and the world will be better. I don’t know what the sense is in being afraid of death, because it’s bound to happen and it’s unavoidable. An untimely death would be very unfortunate, though. I would love to live forever and see how the world changes, but unfortunately that can’t happen lol :)

I don’t believe in souls lol, I think you have your brain and that determines what you’re like (combined with life experiences and socialization), not a soul. I think we just cease to exist when we die
